hi,

I was wondering how do i add the news portal to my front page. I want it to load in frontpage and sections only.

Am i ment to add this manually into my template design ?

New Portal overrides the Joomla! blog component on the front page. Just install the software, configure it to your liking, and promote the link to the "Home" position on your main menu. The template you use will provide the styling unless you change that in the back end.

the news portal component isnt loading for me unless i actually click the link on the menu, im wanting to so when you go to the site www.mydomain.com it will actually load the component rather than having to click the link
