Will the new release of magazine for Joomla version 1.5 work with Ad Agency alongside it?

Yes, you can use all iJoomla extensions on the same Joomla! installation (check ijoomlademo.com). Anyway, at this point we have these versions available:
For Joomla! 1.5.x
- iJoomla Magazine
For Joomla! 1.0.x
- iJoomla Magazine
- iJoomla Ad Agency
