Adding "Section > Category" to each article heading (like author and date)
«

I'd like to add the section and category names to each article on the Main News Page. It would be in the same manner as the date of the article and the Author of the article.
I'd also like to add category names to each article of the section home pages. Again, formatted in much the same manner as the author and date of the article.
I don't see an option to do this easily. Perhaps there should be?? Anyway, any idea how to add this feature to my portal??
Thanks!

Hi,
At this point you can“t add section/category name on each article from your iJoomla News Portal.

This would be helpful to have and would give the portal an A+ in my opinion. If you organize articles on the homepage by time submitted - rather than by section - this solves the problem of knowing which article came from where.
If you ever add this option - which I feel should be considered - it would also be nice to make the section and category names linkable.
Hopefully someone will consider adding this feature to the portal in the near future. Seems like the code would be fairly straight forward and people who organize article by time, rather than by section or category, would use it and appreciate the feature.
Thanks!

Thank you for your interesting suggestion.
We'll take note of it for future releases if it's possible.

I would really like to see a feature like this also, especially in the featured "categories" area where I have categories with the same name assigned to different sections. When you see them listed in the categories area it just looks like duplicates...
