For a News Portal, in particular, it would be useful to lay out the "zone" pages in alternate ways. This would support special features (e.g., Monday has a Science emphasis), for variety, or to accomodate special needs (e.g., Election Night Special).

This could be done by a "layout" tab that assigns layouts by day, frequency, or some combination.
