Hi all.

If you are looking for under-fulfilled needs that can be leveraged off of digi-store, I would ask you think about event registration/ticket/venue sales. Also site subscriptions.

A good commercial grade calendar/event system, with ecommerce capabilities should be viable.

Just a suggestion.

Pete,

We have thought about that and one way possible to do this would be to use the digi mambot, but we didn't do enough testing to know if it would work with event components yet, when we do, we will let you know.

That's exactly what I'm using digistore for. Right now, we plan to continue using our calendar component and "selling" event RSVP's as a "service" in digistore, but it would be great to have that kind of integration within digistore itself, or some additional component that would work with it.

I would second that suggestion; I have a client that would be very interested in a well-built bridge between a digistore and an existing events calendar (a substantially modified version of jEvents), which would provide event registration + payment functionality. I hope you will consider it: from a developer/client point of view yours would be a very welcome alternative to the current *very* expensive pay-per-transaction options from the likes of active.com.
