Hi,

I'm not a support guy for iJoomla, but what I have done as a workaround to do something similar to what you are descrbing is this:

1. Create a new category - let's call it "Special Deals"

2. Make sure this category is published, but allocated to "Special" rather than "Public" or "Registered".

3. Create your new specially priced products and allocate them to your "Special Deals" category in Digistore.

4. Log in the front end as a Super Administrator. In the Digistore, you will be able to see the category "Special Deals". Surf through the products, taking a note of their URLs.

5. When you have noted all the URLs, go back into the Administrative back end of Digistore, and unpublish the category "Special Deals", but leave all the products allocated to it as published. ALSO: change the accessibility of this category to "Public", even though it is not published.

You now can use the URLs you noted to create links to the special promos.

If you have the Digistore mambot, you can actually do some more tricks.

Instead of using the URLs, all you have to do is use the Product ID code in the normal way you would use the Digistore Mambot.

For example, follow these instructions to create an emulation of the Amazon Perfect Partner link:

1. Create the category "Perfect Partners"

2. Make sure this category is unpublished.

3. Create new Products that use the Include: so, include two products you regard as a "Perfect Pair", and - in true Amazon style - make sure that you make the pricing the same as the normal price of the two items combined, and ensure that your shipping is the same as well. As an example, we'll say that you have created a Perfect Partner of Red socks and Blue socks.

4. In the normal product "Red socks", go to the Full Description on the General Tab, and create a small section - probably best to separate it using horizontal rules - in which you will place:

[Image of Red socks] "Plus" [Image of Blue socks] ": A perfect partner for only" [price of perfect partner product you created] [Digistore mambot including the Product ID of the Red socks and Blue socks product you created in step 3]

Leave out the quotes, etc

Once you save this and then look at the "Red Socks" product on the Front end, when you go to the full description you will see this little section, and you will be able to click the "Add to Cart" button, and you will have added both Red socks and Blue socks for the normal price.

Naturally, you can adjust the prices so that instead of paying the same as usual, there is a reduction, etc.

Hope this helps!

Dirty Dave
