It would be great if I could sort RSS feeds by either ascending or descending dates.  Why?  I'm feeding a Google Calendar RSS feed to my site through Feedburner.  Feedburner has a nifty little feature that takes calendar feeds, and re-arranges them into the proper chronological order, rather than by date of entry.

However, the News Portal automatically displays the newest event first... which makes complete sense when dealing with news articles.  For a calendar feed though, "newest" is actually the LAST event listed on the calendar. (i.e., an event two years from now would be displayed first, an event tomorrow is displayed last.)

This makes an "upcoming events" list impossible.  If I could reverse the sort order, my problem would be solved.

Thanks for your response.  I'm working on a firewalled dev machine, but I replicated the condition on your demo server.

The feed URL is:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/wi_geoevents

(the feed list the next 25 upcoming events from our calendar, sorted by date, with tomorrow's events listed before events two weeks from now... you can confirm by looking at the raw feed.)

If I add a {rss2} tag to the home page layout on your News Portal demo server, and enter in my feed URL in the zones manager for "syndicated news 2", the LAST meetings will show up FIRST on the list.  Again, this behavior makes complete sense in most traditional situations.

Thanks again for considering an enhancement!
