Is iJoomla Redirect only for one domain? Or multiuse?

In other words do I have to keep purchasing to each installation?

Licenses are per domain in a production environment. If you are not sure what they means, please let me know and I will elaborate. Thank you and have a great weekend!

Sorry for being so "dumb". But, you lost me with "production environment". I was looking for a SIMPLE answer.

No Problem. I can elaborate. It is like this...

If you buy a license and you use it on "titanadweb.com", but you are building a new site at "newsite.titanadweb.com", you can have it installed in both places, since the "newsite" is for developing the new website and eventually will take over the production website.

So, the short of it is that it is only for one domain.

Does that make more sense?

Not really.

Are you saying that if I build a site(titanadweb.com), that any site connected to or under titanadweb.com such as:

blog.titanadweb.com
or
titanadweb.com/blog is covered

but if I want to add: titanadnewsite.com
on the same server(add-on domain).

I have to buy another license?

If the blog site is meant to be its own standalone site, then it needs its own license.

Well now you have really got me confused.

First, I need to ask. Are you one of the developers or do you work for iJoomla? If so, are you being intentionally misleading?

I think I will be better off just filing a support ticket. Because this is not clearing up my question.

I am the developer. I am sorry that what am saying is confusing. I will try again and *fingers crossed* it will make sense.

The problem is that you do not know what the terms "development environment" and "production environment" mean. This is not your fault, you have just not heard of them before.

"You must have a separate license for each installation of Joomla in a Production environment".

That statement listed above will make sense to most web developers / programmers. For everyone else, here are definitions.

Quote
Production Environment - Where an application or system resides that hosts actual / real data (as opposed to test data) or is available on a publicly accessible network or server.

The alternative to this is a development environment where it's only intention is to build a site without being viewed by the public. Once you make the site live for public viewing, it is then a production environment. If you have a subdomain (ie. blog.titanadweb.com) that is intended for public viewing and has its own installation of Joomla!, then it needs its own license.

If for some reason, this is still confusing, please let me know. I want to make sure that this makes sense. You can catch me on AIM and Skype as "ChiefGoFor". Actually talking it out may make more sense.

Thanks!

** If anyone else has a better explanation, please feel free to chime in. Thanks!

I think I understand now.

But, a little to rich for my blood. Especially when I have to pay twice just to add a blog to a site.

Good luck.

I'm sorry that the price is not to your liking. I am curious as to why you have your blog on a different URL. Why not have them all on one? Have a good one and good luck in your ventures!

See, you just lost me again.

"I am curious as to why you have your blog on a different URL. Why not have them all on one?"

I usually place my blogs either:

mysite.com/blog

or

blog.mysite.com

Is there another way? Other than having the blog as the main site?

No, there is not. I was suggesting having it on the main site. Anyway, best of luck and well wishes!
