Hi there.

I have a curious phenomenon I'd welcome suggestions for.

All fields in a survey are a sans-serif font except the multi-line text box. This text area is a Courier like font.

I can find no obvious reason in the css for iJoomla surveys, and I can't affect anything in the box, not even by modifying .TextArea

www.duralanglican.org.au

Thanks for replying promptly - I had forgotten to set up notification, so took a few days to get back to this.

Try the sermons survey. I've added an Essay field at the bottom of the form.

Hi,
I have saw that you have empty this class in your CSS:
Code:
.TextArea {

}
And your template has defined this class. So, iJoomla Surveys is taking this class from your template.
I suggest you to complete this textarea on your iJoomla Surveys backend.
Please let us know if you have any doubts about this.
Best regards,

Have modified survey.css in component file to read...

.TextArea {
font: 100%/140% Geneva, Trebuchet MS, Lucida, Arial, sans-serif;
}

which is the setting in my template's css file for the basic sans-serif font for the site.

However, no change. What might I be getting wrong?

Then, you will need to define a custom class (textarea) on your template.
Take a look at your template and you should see a .textarea related with other classes. Just cut it and check if the problem persists.
If you have doubts with this, submit a support ticket and we can try to help you with this.
Best regards,
