I've noticed in the survey description, that every time I enter an apostrophe (eg at St Jude's church) a backslash is added (eg at St Jude\'s church). In fact, each time I edit this I get another backslash (eg at St Jude\\\'s church). You can see this at www.duralanglican.org.au - go to the Sermon Survey.

I have checked a few other places (eg survey questions) and have found this phenomenon there also.

Are you able to explain why and offer a solution? It isn't something I've noticed anywhere else.
