Can Digistore co-exist on the same Joomla install without conflicts?

(Joomla 1.0.15)

I use VM for my Manufacturers and COD orders.  I need my small list of services and products to be sold via Paypal and was looking at Digistore for this.  That way, the Mfg would go to my Digistore to sign up for services using seperate store and cart system (I realize that they would need to register thru the Digistor module and not VM).  That would be OK.

Hi,
I think that I already answered you by email.
Anyway, I can tell you that iJoomla DigiStore is compatible with VM and you will be able to run both of them in the same J! installation.
Please let me know if you have more questions about this.
Best regards,

It appears the Digistore installation on same sight with VM creates user registration issues.  I had ot reinstall my site from a backup.

Any suggestions or workarounds.  It would be great, if soemhow, VM and Digistore could share user records or both be set up with a single registration.

Thanks,

OK - I got it fixed.  I used a MySQL trigger to populate the Digistore Customer tables when the VM User Registration is done.  I end up with the same user ID and info for both VM and Digistore.  Co-existence is working great for me.

Thanks for the ease of implementation in accepting paypal payments.  Now maybe I can finally make some money on my site.
