There is an issue with the way quotes is working.

It works for the most part, except it adds the text of the quote right next to the quote even though the quote is from a different part of the article, if that makes sense.

http://www.cairnmag.com/Fiction/Fiction-by-Michael-Mecherikoff.html

If you look at the first quote, the quoted part is also in the main body of the text right above the quote - which it shouldn't be. The extra text is not in the editor. The quote functioning is adding the 'extra' text. . .

Any ideas?

Hi,
You can add two kind of quotes:
1. Quote a part of your article:
Code:
“Hello,” she said. Velvet wine: sweet, rich, full of body and notable spice.

“Hi,” Tim responded, his voice masked, deep and throaty. “Is this Wanda?”

{quotes}“Yes, Larry. And I’m just getting warmed up. Are you ready to keep the party going?”

He wiggled on the hard, wooden chair and gripped a lukewarm mug. “Yeah.”{/quotes}

“Yes, this is Wanda. What’s your name? No last names, please.” A familiarity echoed through the crackles of bad reception.

In this case the quote will shows next to the original text.

2. Quote a independient text.
Code:
“Yes, Larry. And I’m just getting warmed up. Are you ready to keep the party going?”
{quotes}testing{/quotes}
He wiggled on the hard, wooden chair and gripped a lukewarm mug. “Yeah.”

In the first case you will see the text two times (original text + quoting text). In the second case you will get the quoted text only.

How are using the quoting tag in your site?

This is what I have:

<p>
&ldquo;Hello,&rdquo; she said. Velvet wine: sweet, rich, full of body and notable spice.
</p>
<p>
"Hi," Tim responded, his voice masked, deep and throaty. "Is this Wanda?"
</p>
{quotes align=left}
<p>
"Yes, Larry. And I'm just getting warmed up. Are you ready to keep the party going?"
</p>
<p>
He wiggled on the hard, wooden chair and gripped a lukewarm mug. "Yeah."
</p>
{/quotes}
<p>
"Yes, this is Wanda. What&rsquo;s your name? No last names, please." A familiarity echoed through the crackles of bad reception.
</p>

This isn't part of the text, it should be separate from the main body.
