I have a site called SLOpinion.com. It's a very simple, no work whatsoever, site that publishes excerpts of RSS feeds regarding alternative energy.  It's become pretty popular for something thrown together quickly and is now a PR5.  So, I'm now looking at how I might take advantage of the traffic and build a better site. However, I don't want it to become a site that I have to write articles for, I still need it to run on automatic, for the most part.

So, I've landed here, wondering what Joomla and the iJoomla News Portal can do for me. Is it possible, without hacking, to do pretty much what I am doing with my site now, but in the much nicer format of the iJoomla News Portal. Obviously, the critical part is reading and displaying the feed information.

Note: I have never used Joomla.
