I posted two articles in one zone to my front page displaying only the images. The images shows as one/connected. I do I separate them.

Are you using wrap feature on these zone?

I've tried with wrap image and without. The images for each article sits connected side by side. What are some other solutions?

In that case check if you set propertly the "Article Orientation" (general tab) on this zone. Remember that you can set it as a horizontal or vertical.
