PHP 5.0.5 on Linux w/ Joomla 1.5.7

When I installed the component I received a couple of errors, but the component seemed to work .. I uninstalled and reinstalled but those errors persisted..

When I went in and tried to install the paypal plugin, I get more errors..

The plugin claims it installed successfully, but it doesn't show up ..

These are all warnings, not errors.. but still not normal behavior, no other component I've installed has had this problem and the paypal plugin isn't showing up.

I get errors virtually everywhere I go in this component..  if I try to browse the main store by going to index.php?option=com_digistore .. more of the same

The installation instructions were minimal, what's the deal?

  this error os probably because your system has mysql 4 installed instead of mysql 5.0+ .
The minimum requirement of all our Joomal 1.5 components is PHP5 and MYSQL 5
With the release of Joomla version 1.5.7, they have changed the minimum requirements fo joomla itself to PHP 5.
There is also talk about changing the minimum requirements of MYSQl to version 5 also.
Our components for J1.5 have been developed around version 5 in order to take advantage of the newer features and functionality of this verison.
