Hi Merav and team,

I've already got ijoomla magazine and would be interested in combining both the news portal and the magazine for a travel related site. The news portal would be the homepage/frontpage (for a fast flow of news), whereas the magazine would be part of the news portal (as it is the case with a couple of print newspapers that put a weekly or monthly magazine inside) for features about a specific topic.

My questions are:

1. A couple of frontpage news items would lead to an ordinary article. However, I would like to use the feature area on the frontpage in order to write a couple of words about the new magazine issue, maybe accompanied by an image, and then link to the current issue. Could I do these by using the "Read more", using an external link? Or any other method?

2. The news portal would also have a section area as usual. One of these sections needs to be called "Magazine" that also links directly to the current magazine issue. Can this be done?

3. I have bought the magazine component for a domain which never went online and even doesn't exist anymore. Could I change the domain in order to use the magazine?

4. I would need a German language file for the magazine, too. I've already had one but probably deleted it. Where can I find it on your site?

5. Have you got an up-to-date manual for the current magazine version?

6. Any hints when the 1.5 news portal will be available?

Keep up the excellent work!

Yours,
Peter

Yes, you can include a module (or a featured article) on your iJoomla News Portal layout.

Same with this. Remember that you can include custom modules on your front page layout. There you can use the Magazine module.  Cool

Yes, we will publish it tonight. Anyway, send me an email and I will attach the new manual for the J! 1.5 version.  Cool
