For example a joomla template from rockethema can have different styles for just one template. Is it possible to adjust the template of NewsPortal in such a way that it also has different styles?

Hi versteegh,
At this point you can set 3 templates in iJoomla News Portal: home page, section page and category page. Just go to "Layout Manager".

I'm aware of this option. Let me clarify a bit more. For example, the Colormatic template of Rockethema has 15 color scheme's. Is it possible to adopt the style of NewsPortal to 15 different styles? In other words is it possible to also create 15 styles for NewPortal?

At this point you can´t.
In the next releases we will have more choices to customize the front page.
