I asked this question on the previous forum and was told I need to upgrade to the latest version in order to have the ability to use the default joomla sections and categories. This would provide the ability to use the Joomla Blog and Joomla Table views of sections and categories. Using OpenSEF, it would also provide me the URLs noted below. Ultimately, I want to get rid of the iJoomla sections and categories and have upgraded to the latest version.

DEFAULT JOOMLA
www.mysite.com/section/category/content.html

iJOOMLA
www.mysite.com/Section/Category/Content.html

Thank you.

I have tried numerous options and none succeed at delivering the pages I want. I did not notice any new options. Though, I did notice I have some URLs that are even worse with the upgrade, as in com_newsportal rather than the previous mentioned. I'm not so concerned with that though, since I am looking for simple, which would work with other content objectives.

Is there a new option I overlooked or configuration I must perform differently?

I am considering other options but would rather not have to. Thanks.

Yes. I did several months ago and was told to upgrade, which I immediately did, but I still could not find the functionality. I will post a new one, though. Thanks.

An answer to this problem/dilemma? Could it be shared to help others, or has this been fixed in an upgrade? Thanks.

No. They never came up with a solution. I opted to use the Minifrontpage  Module in conjunction with an array of other modules using the mosloadposition default Joomla mambot to create the desired effect.
