I think you have mentioned that a subscription feature is planned for Digistore. Can you advise when we can expect to see this. Sooner rather than later I hope.

I did try AEC and even got it to work. Then I needed to fix something else which required removing things including AEC and when I tried again, I couldn't get it to work! My concern is that even if I got it to work again, I still couldn't be sure how to fix it if it went wrong. The hacks are a little confusing and also a couple say that I need access to my server. The server folk at Siteground say it's all working anyway so they do not need to fix the hacks. In short, a bit out of my ability range to be confident about. Will be looking at JContentSubscription (advertised on iJoomla) and still waiting to see what the pay add-on from the CB team might bring.

You must have mastered AEC! Well done.

Subscription would be OK, but I for one would like to see the existing payment system improved.  The drop down payment selection feature is really tacky, and a turn-off to everyone I have demonstrated it to.  Buttons representing the pay options would be more appropriate--even more so will be improving the PayPal plugin to support real online merchant accounts.  Most of us are using Payflow Pro.  Buyers need a seamless access to use their credit cards--not the tacky float into basic paypal that they are getting now.  Customers do not want to be "suggested" to open a PayPal account.  This is a business killer for us, iJoomla folks!

Thanks for the feedback. Paypal flow is definitely on our list, but remember guys, programming TAKES TIME.  Smiley

IMHO the issue on this thread should be the top thing for iJoomla to enhance in DigiStore.  Until this is fixed we all look like second class web commerce wannabees.

As soon as its ready, I would buy DigiStore and recommend it to anyone.

Almost everybody has a different idea of what is the most important feature digistore is missing. We listen to all your suggestions and we make our priorities based on your feedback plus what we think is right.
