Help for a new user, please.

Accessing an article from the Current Article module serves a two column page (with navigation in the left position and the article in the main body.) Accessing the same article from the Read More following the intro text serves a page with the three column format like the frontpage: left nav, main body, right, with all the modules from the front page.

Also, in both formats of the article page, content I put in user modules at the bottom of the page shows the “About the Author” piece, whereas it doesn’t show up on the frontpage, (nor do I want it to.)

Thanks

Are there any plans to integrate the old and new forums?

When you edit your Poll (or anyother) module, in the right side of the screen there is a list of pages where you can select for the module to be shown. There select "ALL" option.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I only want the poll and the login modules on the frontpage.

I don`t think so (Check Here).

So that 1107 topics in the old forum are not important?

Yes, they are important. For that reasons you still can access to them.
