I have Ijoomla Magazine and would like to make my site private until I filled it up with contents by different authors. What good is a site without a contents? So I was wondering how make my site private until I am ready to open it up to the public?

I tried to make Home-->ijoomla magazine set to register user
But the only thing that does it just make the "home" on the menu disappear.

Is there any other options that I can use to make my site private until I get it on a server and open it to the public?

Thanks so much, I will try that. I guess I wont make it "special", because I am going to give access to certain people so that they can look at it and also add contents.
Would I still use a static content if I want to use a picture. I was trying to replicate www.adultswim.com and how they have an image at the beginning then you have to click in. Thanks
