the newsportal component is trying to insert imgs with content items that i have verified have NO images whatsoever in them.

so the end result is that i see a text link(item title repeated) placeholder which is ugly.  the only solution i have right now is to insert an image, or unpublished the content item.

the non-existent image references: 'images/stories/users' which is an empty folder.

see w w w dot goodnewsnetwork dot o r g

thank you,

Hello,

If you happen to resolve this issue, please post the answer. I get the same problem, using different Joomla installations on different sites, different templates, etc.
Thanks.

Hi,

I'm sorry but I can't post the link because the site is under construction.

What happens is quite simple: since there is no image submitted, the "alt=" function is getting the title of the article and is showing it. Since the title is already there, we get 2 titles! The trick is to remove the "alt= name of the article" but I could not do it so far.
