Is it currently possible to link the Digistore registration to someone's registration profile in Community Builder? For example, when someone makes a purchase through Digistore, can the Digistore registration page auto-populate with data from their Community Builder profile? Thanks.

What's the status of User Registry Integration across Joomla components ??

Having to reenter user registrations from one module to another is a hassle, especially for eCommerce modules.  The underlying community site system should be the primary holder of user data, not the other way eCommerce subsystem.  I want to include iJoomla components into my community sites.

Community Builder Integration ??

I am running a community site as well and integrated the Digistore into my site.  The new customers purchasing merchandise completed their orders outside of the user registration for my site, so I too am curious to find out if and when the registration process between the digistore and CB is or will be effective.  This is a big problem for me.  The strategy of selling and cross-selling is at a stand still if I can't register using CB.  Seems this problem was identified and completed in the Ad Agency mod.  Please update response.  Last we heard was on 3/18.  Thanks.

Yeah, this is sad news.   Cry  I was all set to buy Digistore (it looks awesome) but I also need CB. The trend is strongly for shops with some form of community involvement.. Amazon being the forerunner of that concept.

I have a community site that has integrated the DigiStore software and currently have had problems with managing and viewing CB tabs.  The sequence in the problem is simple, everytime I click on a member tab, there's a pause then I am reverted back to my homepage.  My website is very light right now with the Core Joomla components, mods. and plug-ins.

I've narrowed it down to possible cause as a Digistore issue based on this:
1. Only one person on the entire Joomlapolis CB forum boards has this problem, can't be CB.
2. The only difference between my test site and my live site is DigiStore. Everything's hunky dory at my test site, and other functioning CB production sites all using the same template.
3. I can manage the profiles using multiple browsers using Windows XP on my work machine.  My home machine has Windows Vista and the only problem browser is IE7.  So, it could be a Vista/IE7 in conjunction with code in the DigiStore?Huh?

I'm hoping someone can help or add a suggestion to fix this problem.

To iJoomla: Please don't chalk this up to a template issue, because it is not.  Having a store directly in my community site is allowing my site to grow much faster than without, and I would like to keep the Store in my site.  My Plan B is not favored right now.

what you may be finding is that one of the components you are using is dropping the user session. if after dropping the session, you access a secure area of the digistore component, you will get redirected for security reasons. We found that Joomla seems to have some session handling problems regarding the $my variable and users were being sent to paypal without the $my sesison variable being set or corrupted so we added extra checking and decided that it would be better to redirect the user to a please login again page instead of you having lots of orders with no licenses and contact info in them in your Digistore system.  We are looking for a better solution for this still though.

Major bummer! This is a deal breaker for all of my (5) eCommerce sites. Sad

At this point we are not planing to integrate DigiStore and CB.
Best regards
