Hi,

I'd like to see in the next release of News Portal the following:

* Add an extra field for the Content's (text) Author. Currently, we have a 'Creator' (person who originally created or submitted the text), and 'Author Alias'. In a real News system, there's a need for both listed separately: the original author of the text, and the person who just submitted this to the system for publication.

* Make the Author's name searchable. This means that is should be able to create a list of all Authors with all the texts they published. (It's less important to have such a list for the user who just submitted/entered the text, but it would be useful as well).

* Add an extra field for the submitted/entered Content's Source (usually it's going to be http link).

* Make an easy way to change Zone's names (for example: from 'Top stories' to 'Latest News', or from 'Featured Categories' to 'Categories').

* Make a tooltip for the entries in the iJoomla News Portal, just like iJoomla has it. Say, I am in iJoomla News Portal/Design/Zones/Zone Name and hover the cursor over the Inner Padding - I should get a good explanation with some examples.

* Supply iJoomla News Portal with some basic set of separators (or at least a built-in link to the place where the separators can be downloaded from).

* Add a way to select in what order the Categories are listed in the 'Featured Categories' zone, overriding iJoomla's settings.

* Add ability to include a background image of the zone, in addition to background color.

* Add a new field for 'Subtitle'. The 'Heading' is not as useful as a 'Subtitle' would be.

That's it for now. Patiently waiting for a new version...

Great suggestion. Not for next release but maybe the one after that.
