Hi
Just wondered if it is possible to get development status of this product and if we can be told about what extra features (if any) will be in the next release and when that will be.
It's a case of, it doesn't seem to offer up everything I had hoped for (more my mistake but also things not working as they should) but I might have to go back to Virtuemart - unless I'm bowled over by what is happening and if the next release is very soon.
Any update on this product would be appreciated.

The programmers are working on this extension. So, I think that you have a new version soon, but I don“t know when. Anyway you can suggest your ideas
here
and we will considerate if they are possibles.

please forgive me but i dont want to sound rude but i'd really like to know what the development status is and what we are likely to see.
this is a commercial product - not free where we're all happy to hear development is happening
sorry - but i need to know this before potentially moving back to virtuemart or before potentially buying more licensees

A new version is due any day now with a lot of new features. We will send an email blast with more details when it's ready.
We will also be working on something we call "the next generation" of digistore that will be more sophisticated.

but how long is any day now ... i've got someone hassling me about the functionality of digistore and i really dont want to have to use virtuemart for this but i need to know when and what are the changes ..
otherwsie it is virtuemart

Any day means any day. It can be tomorrow, next couple of days, or next week. As soon as we finish finding bugs and fixing them, we will release. Do you want us to release a package with bugs?

thats actually a bit rude of you merav
this is a commercial product and due respect the version i'm running has bugs - so why did you release that??
any day isn't good enough for my bank manager

First, what I mean is that when you add new features, you need to test it well, other wise you have bugs, and we don't want that, right?
Second, if that's not good enough you can ask for a refund, we are doing the best we can.
Third,we have just released the new version, a newsletter will be sent soon.

sorry but I really feel the same way.. it has been months and this component has never really worked as it should. I have now tried to installed the new version and its not working. the paypal wont install properly. I have submitted tickets but apperently the tech ppl have gone home for the weekend? My job could be on the line if I dont get this to work.. I will now search for a replacement component on my day off. We have orders almost every day so we loose quite a bit of business by not having a shop online. I feel I have been waiting patiently...

We never claimed digistore does more than it does. We give you access to the demo to make sure it has the features you need and money back guarantee. It's a simple cart, if you need a more sophisticated solution you shouldn't buy it. We add more and more features as we go, but programming takes time.
