I think it is a must for digistore.

Is bank transfer or offline payment in your plans?

Hi Merav,

I already bought Digistore, but have not implemented it yet because of the lack of these feature. Outside the countries directly supported by Paypal is difficult to convince a first time customer to buy your stuff and then sign for a service that requires an international credit card and is based in another country...a triple loop of faith!

Hope this item can be pushed up the To Do list!!:)

That's true for my country, too. I think many stores would use digistore if an offline payment was available.

Merav and friends -

IMHO, this should be made a priority to-do - let me explain why.

I am a PayPal "verified" user, with an account in my home country (USA) as well as where I reside (Mexico). I called PP last week to review how to merge my 2 accounts, since a multi-national/multi-bank option was not available a few years ago. The "catch" for accounts using Mexican banks is that they are deposit-only accounts, meaning that PayPal customers cannot transfer money out of their MX-based bank/credit card account; since getting money into a PP account to make online purchases is the key to using PayPal for web-based payments (and thus, DigiStore!) this severely limits PayPal transactions as well as online merchants. In effect, my client for whom I bought DigiStore - like me - must find a way to offer some other form of payment to many in-country customers.

I learned this just 4 days ago, so I am looking for another way to use DigiStore....perhaps an adaptation of the Virtuemart hack? perhaps a way to place a x-day hold on the purchase, with a manual purchase/payment/shipment override?

Congratulations on a great product - I'm lookingg forward to continued improvement ...and hope you consider my/our feature request.

John

please see this article.

If you have a bank in MX that will alow you to build a payment interface to, then these guys can build you a payment plugin.
Alterntely, they may be able to provide a buy now pay later plugin, but you'd have to be pretty specific on how you want that to work from a business point of view as all the processing would have to be in the plugin because they can't modify the code compoentn code.

I´m still waiting to put my store online because of this very feature. But with a lot more pressure on.

Is it possible now to have an estimated date for the release of this feature?

May I add my voice to the plea for the inclusion of an offline payment facility to digistore. A vast number of countries and situations do not have ready access to the online payment infrastructure, but need an online store capability up only to the checkout counter.

thanks
