iJoomla News Portal works with any template (check alledia.com, news.ejoomla.net, not.hr, asiaing.com, more sites powered by iJoomla News Portal). For example Sporticus (rockettheme.com), JA Teline (joomlart.com), TimeNews (templateplazza.com) are good choices.

Just a suggestion about the Rockettheme mentioned template "Sporticus":

This is a great temlate and Rockettheme is outstanding with advice, very active forum, and very usable temlpates.  However, there is a Sporticus News template that is customized to the News Portal and you should know a couple things up front.  If you are looking for a template where you don't have to mess with the layout settings and styling of, then this is the one for you.  It overrides what's in the styling fields for the News Portal and it can be troublesome to change this.

If you are looking to have complete control over the look and feel, go with the Sporticus or SporticusV2 temlate.  All three are great and very similar, but the Sporticus News does override styling.

Just a heads up cause I've seen several posts of people being frustrated trying to use it. 

I do highly recommend Rockettheme for a template club if you are shopping around.
