Is there any way to implement a diferent payment system?? I'm in Chile and Paypal does not currently support chilean banks. There is another system called DineroMail and I would like to implement that one.

Thanks for your suggestion.
If it's possible we'll consider it for future releases,
Best regards,

mmmm, actually, my question is if is at all posible to do it now. the component is useless to me if I can't make it work the way I need it to. There's got to be a way to modify the checkout process so that it takes to a diferent payment system.

Hi,
No at this point. For that reason I moved this thread to Suggestions/Ideas in order to be consider for futures releases if it´s possible.
Anyway, you can use Paypal and transfer your founds using XOOM.com services.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ricardo. I wasn't familiar with Xoom. While not a bad service, it is very impractical for merchants and their customers.

For example, my client is developing its Mexico-based online store for underwear. With Xoom, the minimum purchase fee would incur an additional cost of US $3 (about 30 pesos)...on items that cost about $200-500 pesos, that is an extra 15%. When you factor in the 15% IVA (VAT) tax then the items are no longer price-competitive. (Contrast that with the 2.9% that PayPal takes!)

We are setting up the DigiStore, and hope to have other payment plugins available, including those that use such regional services as DineroMail.

Thanks - and all that is VERY good, yet there is no mention of "offline" payment integration ...and that goes a long way for many online merchants, too.  Wink

Why not ask them if they can develop an offline payment plugin.
