Hello

In my download for iJoomla Magazine is see Live and Dev.

What is the difference?  If I am just installing it to use it as is do I only need the "Live"?

Thank you,
Dora

Live = the domain you will use the magazine on
Dev = if you develop the magazine on a test /development domain, enter the domain there. If you don't -- leave it empty.

Thank you! I need to know if I should install both since I am developing here: http://www.dharmakaya.com/e-projectmanagers.com/joomla//index.php

and plan change my DNS to e-projectmanagers.com to my new host, once I am done.

Right now I get an error when I select iJoomla from the components menu.
This is the error:

The encoded file /home/dharmaka/public_html/e-projectmanagers.com/joomla/administrator/components/com_magazine/admin.magazine.php requires a license file.
The license file /home/dharmaka/public_html/e-projectmanagers.com/joomla/administrator/components/com_magazine/license.txt is not valid for this server.

Thank you  Smiley

Hi dtarver,
Which domains did you add to LIVE and DEV?
Anyway, I suggest you to use localhost for testing. You can install XAMPP, AppServer, etc.

I started with LIVE but uploaded the DEV package yesterday.
Localhost is the default for my database.

I don't know what XAMPP and AppServer.  I am working on a shared public server hosted by a popular company. So I don't control the server.
