Joomla categories and Digistore Categories: are not the same

Hello,
Digistore Categories is quiet different of Newsportal. My section and categories created with Joomla cannot be selected with digistore. Am I right?

I try to have my store home page with the list of categories and subcategories:
T-SHIRT
yellow
red
blue

SHOES
running shoes
sandale
etc.

When I click, on "yellow", I have a page with all the Yellow T-shirt in a table. When I click on the picture of the t-shirt that I want, I get the detail of that yellow t-shirt. Here is an example of what I wich to do with Digistore: http://www.extravision.co.jp/store/index.html

Is that possible? Thanks for helping

Yes, you are right. iJoomla DigiStore have has its own structure. You can define Categories and Sub-Categories.

Yes, no problem with that. When you click on the picture, you can see a complete description of the item. See an example here.

Thanks Ricardo, your demo gives me hope. I'll try it again. Here others questions:
1-Instead to have to click on the url link under the picture to go to the product detail under the picture (like on your demo), how can I link instead the picture to the product detail?
2-Instead to have the number of sub-categories, I wish to have the title of those sub-categories. Is that possible and how can I do this?

Yes, maybe you will need a simple hack to do this.

In your category description, you can link all your subcategories. You can use a textlink or an image.

Wich file do I have to hack, wich code do I have to modify and wich code do you suggest that I write instead to link the picture to the product detail?

Please here pictures that show the setting that I selected for the Layout. It didn't show the sub-categories list. Do I have to do the setting somewhere else?

1- Edit digistore.html.php and find this:
