Resolved bug in guru

hello
I found the bug in component guru.

When paying, if I plan to buy a plan manually in the value browser, I'll get a successful purchase without a payment. No payment to be made and no money paid.

Hi,

Please go to "components\com_guru\controllers" make a back-up to "guruBuy.php" file then replace this with the attacehd one (unzip first the attached file).
All these changes will be added in the next version.

Hi

Unfortunately, there is a serious problem in paying for this component.

This component uses the purchase price from the user (browser) for the payment stage.
While this method is wrong, the purchase price should be sent from the database to the next payment stage.

In the attached photo, I just cleared this line in the browser.
Without paying, the system considers the price of the course 0 and considers the payment to be successful.

Please, check solution suggested by Alin or use latest version of Guru. Additionally it seems that you do not have active license or use free version. Please, mind that no support could be provided for expired subscription and only limited for free version.

I will check the free version too, maybe the latest fixes on the PRO one wasn't yet transferred to Light as they are two different packages.

I added a new Guru Light version (5.0.18), please download the new version and reinstall on your site. Test and let me know if something is not ok.

I tested the version 5.0.18 and unfortunately there is still this bug inside this component.


As shown in the photo, if the remove the part "select" and clicked on the "Checkout" button, the purchase will be recorded successfully without transaction!!!
