    Hi Merav,
Thanks for the update…. this is great news! I think many of us have been waiting for this release. Can you please consider to include an Affiliate feature in the next update? Or, at least make Guru able to integrate with one of the existing Affiliate systems out there…. that would be a killer feature!

        Thanks Merav!

Another thing that I would like to have a is a promo/coupon code (e.g. 50% discount) that is applicable to all of the courses that I have. However, I want to allow each user to be able to use the coupon only once. Total usage of the coupon is unlimited on any course (i.e. unlimited number of users, but each user can only use it once).

I believe this feature is currently not available, right? To me this should be a basic feature for the “Promo Codes” feature don’t you think? I’m sure your team can whip this up in a moment and have it appear in the next point update… 😉

Hello, same question, its a great release a should be compatible with all other great extension as acymailing jcomment easydiscuss .. You should know that many and many of your clients arr frustrated with this limitation with jomsocial and kunena. Clients must have choice to choose between their preferee extensions. Thats my point of view as client 🙂

Why invite new solutions when a very strong and popular ones exists .. Not fair play, i understand now why you wrote the joomla end article !

Jan, every time we develop integration with other solutions we are dependent on them. If they make changes everything falls apart. Sometimes it makes a lot of sense and sometimes it makes more sense to simply do it ourselves, because it’s not a very difficult task and it will be easier to maintain long term. Also, if any of these extensions go out of business, you will be safe. I hope it makes sense.

Looks great but I can’t use any LMS without having SCORM compliance.

    Is this anywhere near?

    Cheers

Hi David, unfortunately implementing SCORM will take a very long time and will stop us from doing all the other stuff we want to do (new features), so we’ve put it aside at this time.

It’s a very nice set up that’s built with MANY different plugins to make it all work. I looked at their features and I see that we have 99% of their features and then some. We are missing ratings and reviews and that’s next on our plate. If you see anything else that’s missing, please write a reply and let me know.

    Hello Merav
We have been using GURU since 2012. After the last release we found many bugs in the update. We have moved our development over to the LMS KING in the hope of a more stable build. I love the flow of the GURU system.
I came across this page and was hoping that you would give us a trial of the new GURU on our dev site (http://s459621363.websitehome.co.uk/) – our production site is http://www.loli.co.za

    Please can you consider:

Properly sequential lessons – i.e. lessons are released in order after the previous one has been completed rather than according to some arbitrary timescale. To prevent students from completing lessons in the wrong order. This feature is standard for most other e-learning packages.

Enabling different certificate templates to be used for different courses rather than just one single one for every type of course.
