Get more twitter followers with our new Joomla Twitter Follow module
Yesterday, Twitter have released their new follow button and TODAY you get a Twitter Follow Joomla module FREE from iJoomla!
We’ve all seen the twitter “follow me” buttons everywhere on the web, but previously, you had to click the button, be taken to twitter profile and then click the follow button on that page. That’s a lot of work for such a simple function. But no more!

What is iJoomla Twitter Follow?
iJoomla Twitter Follow is a FREE module that puts a Twitter “follow” button on your pages. Users will be able to subscribe directly to your Twitter feeds from your websites with a single click.
This means that users will no longer have to click twice to follow your tweets. You’ll enjoy better conversions from visitors to followers and you won’t risk losing your users to an external site.
Users can still preview profiles by clicking the username next to the Follow button.
Module parameters:
- Twitter username.
- Choose light or dark background.
- Show follower count.
- Languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Turkish

When I try to install the module, Joomla says “Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.” 🙁

You need to unzip it first, after all the file name starts with UNZIP_FIRST 🙂

I’ve just created and activated an account but still can’t login 🙁
First I get a “ReCAPTCHA Text Error. Please try Again” and when I do that I get:
“Are you trying to login with your main iJoomla.com site? This downloads site is a separate site and requires you to registger again. Please register and try to login again.”
And below that:
“The system is unable to find a user with the given activation string. The account may already be activated or their activation code has expired. If it has expired, you need to re-register with this site.
Invalid Activation Link!
There is no such account in our database or the account has already been activated.”
What can I do??

Hello, thanks for the module. One thing, the follower counter doesn’t seem to work. I would like to display the number of current followers.

Hi
I have a little problem with this module. I can’t see the number auf current followers when i use the position left or right. Although it is displayed when using breadcrump. Any ideas? i have joomla 1.5

This seems like a cool tool but I will be honest while I have a tweeter account I have not engaged thus far in tweeter once in while I will login but overall been to busy running my business, hopefully one day I will get their I know it has benefits just not have explored them yet.
