Hi...
We have at rotating zone showing on ALL our pages. I am keeping an eye on one of the ads (rotating - show only one - but in rotation with 4 other ads in same zone) = aprox. 8000 views.
In the same period we have another ad with the same message, placed in a zone all our articles (shows 25 rows = all ads always) = aprox. 26.000 views.
How can this be?
I can see no reason AT ALL, that an ad shown on ALL pages gets fewer impressions than an ad showed on only selected pages?
Could you explain to me, how a zone with one rotating ad showing count impressions compared to a zone that shows all ads at once?
Before we launched our site I did some simple testing of my own and found that a zone with one ad showing, but rotating with others, will count just one impression for all ads in zone on one pageload, even though it cycles through all ads repeatedly - is this not correct?
Hope you can help me, because right now I dont know if I can trust the numbers, and that really is not a good thing in regard to sales.
Thanks,
Jesper...
